Stefan Hurtig is a video artist based in Leipzig and Berlin, Germany. His video installations and performances explore the influence of digital image culture on the conception of the self. He is especially interested in subversive forms of visual representation, e.g. masquerade, disguise and veilling. 

Currently, Stefan is hosted at Millworks on a 3-month visiting artist program via the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony/Germany.
